What's Ratebit?

Imagine a rabbit

You can think of Ratebit as a little rabbit that listens to the internet for you.
Simply tell it what places to listen to and what you like.
The stuff then goes through your own algorithm and is then shown in the app.

Algorithm

Social media companies make more money the longer they keep you watching.
Ratebit says "NO!" to this. Instead of using an algorithm designed to keep you hooked, it lets you define the algo yourself.
It doesn't even track watchtime. What Ratebit cares about are the things you tell it to care about.

Ratings

How do you tell it what you like? You rate things on a 1-10 scale.
By default ratings are kept completely private, stored only on your device.
If you want to recommend things to others, you can rate them publicly on the ATmosphere.
PS: You can include a Ratebit widget on your personal website to show them off :)

Privacy

The Ratebit app stores all data on your device only, unless you tell it to make something public.
This website has the following Privacy Policy.
